For this project, I wanted to learn how to create water drops on a can. I’ve always wondered how artists make these small-scale simulations.
I experimented using the POP Solver in Houdini to create the drops. While there are many ways to achieve this, this project gave me hands-on experience with particle simulations and taught me a lot about controlling small-scale fluid effects. Looking back, I would approach it differently now, but it was a great learning experience
